Detailed Instructions
1. Download your Facebook data
- In Facebook, click on Account then Account Settings
- Click on learn more next to Download your information
- Follow Facebook's instructions for downloading your information.
Patiently for Facebook to send you an email with a link to download your information.
2. Securely send your files
Download and open the zip file Facebook provides, and delete everything in the HTML folder except wall.html, then zip everything up again (including the photos folder). We only need wall.html and your photos folder.
Don't know how to do this? Send the zip file Facebook provides and we'll automatically delete those files.
Optional: choose a high quality photo for the front cover of your book.
Use a 3MB+ portrait JPG photo from your camera, not saved from Facebook.
Send both your Facebook zip file and your front cover photo
We'll assume you want your status updates from 2010. Want a different year? Tell us when sending your files.
3. Preview and purchase your book
We'll email you a private link to preview and purchase your book.
